Orange Belts

WOW!  What an exciting night it was for Kassidy and Peyton.  They both were able to test for their orange belts at Tae Kwon Do tonight.  They started the evening off by doing their warm-up exercises and then it was time...

Both girls had to demonstrate specific kicks correctly...

Both girls had to punch the bag 50x in 10 seconds (Peyton did 54 and Kassidy did 78).

Then the girls had to break their boards!  They make it look way to easy...

Then the girls received their ORANGE BELTS from Master Dien!

The next belt is the green belt but that will be awhile before they get that!  We are all super proud of their hard work!

Christmas in June...

We decided that since it stormed all night and it was to cool out to go swimming we would make our Gingerbread Houses from Christmas.  We had a lot of fun using/eating the icing and candy.  The finished products were great and now they want to eat them!

Circus Birthday Party!

Today we got to go to a Circus Birthday Party.  Our neighbor Addison turned 3 and today was her party.  We got to get messy looking for pennies in shaving cream, do a sucker pull, pop a balloon by sitting on it, a ring toss, and a few other games.  We were able to enjoy eating popcorn, sno-cones, hot dogs, and hamburgers!  We got to play in the swimming pools and bounce houses.  When it started to get dark we sat and watched fireworks!  We can't wait till next weekend when there are really big ones!  We even got to go on a tractor ride!

First Day At The Big Pool

Since the weather was beautiful today we enjoyed going to Grandma Georgia's subdvision pool and stayed for a few hours.  We have been waiting for it to open back up for the season.  This year they have added a pavilion so Gracey can join us and we can stay longer since it is shaded.  They all can't wait to go back again!

Grandma Liz Has A Farm...

This week we decided to take a surprise trip to visit Grandma Liz and Poppy at their farm  The kids love going down there to see the cows and run freely!  The kids got to help feed Mikey, see some horses, ride a Monster Truck at the St. Roberts Carnival, swim, and swing on the "Horsey" swing.  On Saturday we drove to the Lake and did some school clothes shopping for Peyton.  Here are a few pictures...

Gracey's First Swim

Today was a hot day so we decided to get the pool out.  I had to run inside and Katelyn asked to hold Gracey for a minute.  When I came back out Gracey was in the water.  She loved to swim but hates baths.

So, I have decided that I hate paying for diapers.  I tried one of Gracey's cloth diapers on her and they are still to big.  Hopefully a few more weeks and they will fit her better.
